Formally-aesthetically closer to Concrete Art are artists like Alicja Kwade, who assembles the cube sculpture “2te 4te Dimension” from light sticks from digital clocks, or like Hinrich Gross / Sigrid Sandmann. Two artists, two works, both “untitled”: two slide projectors cast equally large light squares onto the concrete walls of the Vertical Museum. At first glance everything is identical, nothing is told, they just stand for themselves. Then one discovers differences in the structure of the wall – and possibly also thinks of the unpainted pictures by Felix Nussbaum, to which Libeskind dedicated part of the architecture.
