Since the end of March 2020, the FRISE showcase has been turned into a gallery. In the following months about 20 in-house presentations were shown.

In Hamburg there are 23 exhibition venues organized by artists themselves, which have joined together to form the initiative Art Off Hamburg. All these places of exchange and exhibitions of art were closed for an undefined period of time due to the Corona pandemic. Thus the work of the visual artists threatened to disappear from the public scene. Therefore the showcase became a visible sign that the artistic work continued undiminished.
